Blood Orange Jelly

A delight served in homemade pancakes
Ingredients
  • 1 kg of blood oranges
  • 1 apple
  • 1 lemon
  • sugar (1/4 of the quantity of juice obtained)
  • agar-agar
Tools
  • juice cone
  • graduated tip
Recipe
  1. Cut the oranges and lemon into quarters, remove the skin from the segments. Wash the apple and cut it. Make the juice with the apple, the flesh of the oranges and the lemon.
  2. Weigh the result and add 1/4 of this quantity in sugar (for 600 ml of juice, add 150g of sugar, etc.)
  3. Add 1 heaped teaspoon of agar agar per 200ml of juice.
  4. Mix and pour into a saucepan. Heat until boiling (be careful, it goes quickly), then lower the heat, stir for two minutes.
  5. Pot and leave to cool.
How to serve at the table

Spread on bread, crackers, or pancakes. Filling for pastries and pancakes Incorporate into yogurt or fromage blanc, or into a smoothie.
